This guy turned forty. Folks, I understand that hearing a stranger talk about how much in love she is with her husband is boring, but that knowledge will not keep me from doing it. I already nauseated everyone who's friends with me on Facebook, though, so to avoid doubling up on those who visit both pages, I'll just say this: thank the universe (and his mother!) for his birth. Thank him for asking me if he could carry my Velvet Elvis to my locker that last day of eleventh grade before Christmas Break. Thank him for calling and for asking me out and for asking me to marry him. Thank me for having the good sense to say yes. Just thanks. Thanks so very much for this good, good man, this delicious life, this big love. Thanks so very much for love, right?
I've still got a bit of thirties left, but man, he's making forty look good. I shall fear not! :-)
(Lots of art/craft goodness coming up. Wait for it!)
